This training will provide early childhood educators with background to understand early childhood wheezing and asthma, how to manage children with asthma symptoms and how to modify the center environment to best prevent respiratory problems. We will discuss and practice effective techniques for medication administration and how to address the environmental aspects of asthma.
This course addresses the following age band(s):
- Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
- Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
