This interactive online session will provide ideas and instructional strategies that will delight young children on their journey to becoming readers. Refining your instructional practice through book walks and interactive read-alouds as well as through the use of puppets and other manipulatives to retell stories will captivate your young students as they engage with story books and informational text. When children develop a joy of learning to read, the result is motivation and an eagerness to interact with books.
