Description:
During this hands-on session, participants will learn how to properly use and store toxic substances in child care settings. Participants will also learn the parts and function of a fire extinguisher, be introduced to the basic characteristics of children who show interest in fire and learn how to refer a child to the juvenile fire-setters program.
This course addresses the following age band(s):
- Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
- Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
- Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
