Description:

During part two of this two-part training, teachers will gain the tools to create a musical presentation of any children’s picture book. Music, movement and other storytelling techniques transport the story off the page, make the story come alive and increase children’s engagement whether they are learning virtually or in the classroom. Increased engagement results in a love of learning crucial in this new digital learning landscape. Teachers are encouraged to bring a favorite book to the training. Come and have fun singing your favorite books!

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
