DC Child Care Connections (DC CCC) continues to sponsor monthly free trainings offered by Cypherworx for educators of school-age children each month. The training for Julyy is “Developing and Implementing Effective Indoor Interest Areas for School-Age Children.” Once registered and approved, the self-paced training will be made available to you to complete any time between July 1-31, 2021.

Planning an effective environment is the first step to planning an effective program. When the learning environment is attractive, interesting and comfortable, it provides a basis for a varied program that can address the developmental needs of school-age children. The look and feel of a well-planned environment send a message that children are welcomed and valued.
