Description: 

This session explores the role of relationships between families, programs and the communities in which families live. Participants will deepen their understanding of the importance of family involvement in the education of their children and examine creative strategies for including families in the educational process. Participants will examine a variety of family compositions to more effectively connect with the families in their communities and discuss the importance of involving community partners, culture and diversity in their facilities.
