Being prepared for emergencies can make a big difference as to whether or not the children in your care and the staff in your program remain safe. In this course, participants will learn about the necessary steps a program should take to ensure preparedness in the event of an emergency, as well as effective strategies to communicate the emergency plan to children, parents and staff.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)

Estar preparado para emergencias puede ser una gran diferencia respecto a si los niños bajo su cuidado y el personal de su programa permanecen seguros o no. En este curso, los participantes aprenderán sobre los pasos necesarios que debe tomar un programa para garantizar la preparación en caso de una emergencia, así como las estrategias efectivas para comunicar el plan de emergencia a los niños, los padres y el personal.
