Remaining Slot(s):

Date and Time:
Friday, July 23, 2021 - 10:00am to 12:00pm
Description:

Water activities can be more than just play. Through hands-on experimental play, children (and adults) can learn about the properties and movement of both solid and liquid water, such as how water interacts with different surfaces and what happens when water freezes or ice melts. This interactive session will help participants develop a practice of science inquiry and an understanding of physical science concepts that can be explored through water play. Participants will experiment with water materials and discover ways to inspire children's investigation into water’s characteristics.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
  • Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
  • School age (5-12 years)
