Description: 

In this two-hour interactive training, participants will identify ways that they can support children’s curiosity about what sound is and how it is created. Participants will engage in activities based on best practices. They will also learn how to provide open exploration experiences, deepen focused exploration and continually support children’s reflections on their exploration and ways to share them. Materials used will include common household items.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
  • Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
  • School age (5-12 years)
