Participants will use what they learned from the “Quality Interactions During Nature Walks and Outdoor Play” workshop, which provided an overview of garden-based education and resources including nature-based and early childhood garden education, preparing for the season through literacy and nature-themed art, basic garden design and cooking with kids and families, to explore ways to use garden-fresh fruits and vegetables to prepare recipes in the classroom with the children.
