Description: 

This is part two of a two-part training. In this training, teachers will learn the basics of conducting high-quality observations of children. Through large and small group activities, teachers will: 1) learn why child observation is so important in an early childhood classroom, 2) learn the qualities present in an informative child observation and 3) practice conducting observations of children using their new skills.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
  • Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
