Trainer Approval Program (TAP) Process
The Division of Early Learning (DEL) Trainer Approval Program (TAP) ensures that trainers of the District of Columbia early care and education workforce are individuals that possess professional career experiences and education in the field that are both relevant and aligned with the mission of DEL professional development objectives and priorities. Certified trainers are well versed in their areas of expertise and specific core knowledge areas and demonstrate their understanding of the District of Columbia Common Core Early Learning Standards.
