Description:
During this session participants will summarize the Language Modeling dimension within the Instructional Support domain. Participants will work in teams in pursuit of a common strategy to apply best practices to support effective teacher-child interactions. Participants will also create a plan to demonstrate new ways to teach others about language modeling in their classroom(s). The plan will include language modeling practices and how to engage children in open-ended questions, how to use advanced language and how to facilitate peer conversations.
