Description: 

During session three of the three-session CoP, participants will summarize the Language Modeling dimension within the Instructional Support domain. Participants will work in teams in pursuit of a common strategy to apply best practices to support effective teacher-child interactions. In the CoP, participants will also create a plan to demonstrate new ways to teach others about language modeling in their classroom(s). Participants will later inform others within their own learning communities about language modeling practices and how to engage children in open-ended questions, how to use advanced language and how to facilitate peer conversations. Participants must register and attend all three CoP sessions.
