Thursday, May 21, 2020 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Description:

How adults feel and act has a strong influence on the way they care for children. In order to promote strengths in the children around them, teachers and caregivers need skills to bounce back from their own daily stressors. This workshop focuses on helping teachers and caregivers reflect upon and build their own protective factors. Teachers and caregivers will have an opportunity to examine their own resilience, complete a resilience survey and use the information to select strategies to address any areas of need.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
  • Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
