During this session, participants will explore best practices to support quality teacher-child interactions and foster quality interactions amongst children during nature walks and outdoor play. Quality interactions during these activities provide children with a chance to practice social and emotional skills with their peers, including problem-solving, turn-taking, encouragement, self-control, safe risk-taking and rule-following for social interactions and games.
