In this training, participants will explore ways to plan, practice and promote safety in their early learning environments. The participants will discuss keeping children safe, away from poison hazards, choking and suffocation. This training will review three essential components of keeping children safe: education, supervision and environment. Participants will also learn how to properly use and store toxic substances in child care settings.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
