Description: 

This training provides the following: (1) an overview of early literacy skills and practices; (2) an explanation on why providing story time is important for children and families; (3) guidance on selecting developmentally appropriate content for story time; (4) guidance on how to conduct a story time for various age groups between birth to five years old; and (5) a demonstration and hands-on practice for read-alouds, songs and rhymes.
