Description: 

In this fun and interactive session, early childhood and elementary educators will learn to use simple computer programming to enhance lessons across English language arts (ELA) and science, technology, engineering, arts and technology (STEAM). Educators will create and design characters and backgrounds and code motion, with sound and other effects for their characters. Participants will also learn how they can use various technologies in their classrooms and libraries for a variety of purposes, including reinforcing knowledge in core subject areas, honing presentation and storytelling skills and fostering creativity.

This session is open to educators of preschool through third grade and does not require any previous experience in computer programming.
