Description: 

The goal of this training is to assist early childhood educators in managing their day-to-day stressors so that they are able to manage the stress of the children in their care. Educators will learn how to reduce the effects of burnout and be reminded of the benefits of self care. They will also learn how to manage the effects of challenging behaviors, student conflicts, parent demands and classroom management. The training will focus on helping educators gain a better understanding of their own stressors and identify strategies to lessen their stress levels.

This course addresses the following age band(s):

  • Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
  • Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
  • Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
