In this workshop, participants learn how trauma can affect a child’s developing brain. During the training, the participants will learn how to identify signs of trauma and how to foster resilience in children so that they can develop into emotionally strong adults. How to access local early childhood mental health resources will be discussed.
This course addresses the following age band(s):
- Early childhood - early (birth-36 months)
- Early childhood - middle (36-60 months)
- Early childhood - late (5-8 years)
