Description: 

This session will help Kindergarten teachers learn about the CLASS tool utilized in pre-Kindergarten classrooms, and through analyzing video exemplars and engaging in role play, understand how CLASS pre-Kindergarten indicators align to various elementary teacher observations tools (e.g., IMPACT, Danielson, etc.). This training is open to educators serving students in pre-K4 and kindergarten in public schools, public charter schools and Head Start agencies in the District of Columbia, with an aim toward increasing coordination between local education agencies (LEAs) and Head Start agencies through joint professional development.

Participants will receive six professional learning units (PLUs) for full attendance and completion of the training.
